Our progress
Since 2013, Operanauts has been dedicated and passionate about sharing the art form of opera directly to young people in Kinshasa, Congo. We have supported over 410 Congolese musicians, providing them with training and resources that they would otherwise have struggled to access. Our productions and concerts have reached over 3,000 audience members worldwide, with our adaptions of two popular productions, Fandango! and La Petite Carmen. Our future plans include the commission of a brand new opera called Luba to be premiered at the Operanauts Music Festival in Kinshasa.
