(Kinshasa) OPERANAUTS DRC would like to express its deepest gratitude for your unwavering commitment and enthusiasm towards our Choirs in Opera competition project. This initiative was specifically designed for choirs eager to showcase their talents, improve their performances, and enhance their visibility within the community.
In light of this, OPERANAUTS administrators in Kinshasa are excited to announce that, despite the postponement of the competition, they will stage a special event on Sunday, November 3rd in the afternoon. During this event, La chorale Angélus, one of the outstanding choirs will perform for the administrators, and both the choir director and select choristers will be interviewed to share their experiences learning opera choruses and to discuss the training methods they found most helpful. A journalist and videographer will also be present to record the event.. This gathering will provide valuable insights for other choirs and will showcase the progress and growth of the featured choir.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the competition, which was originally scheduled for October 19th. This postponement will allow for better preparation and ensure that the event lives up to the prestige it deserves. We will inform you as soon as the new date is confirmed.
We sincerely thank you for your understanding and continued support. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements regarding the upcoming competition!
